Harry Kovsky

Harry Kovsky has been a leader in media research since 1970. Drawing upon his experience as a news writer at WNBC, he developed a computerized system for the analysis of news program content and on-air promotion for use in servicing television stations in more than 50 markets. His expertise in news content analysis has been called upon to study the Today Show, Good Morning America, and network news at ABC, CBS, and NBC.

Mr. Kovsky assisted syndicated program producers and networks with the Jay Leno Show, David Letterman Show, the Oprah Winfrey Show, Inside Edition, and the situation comedy – Roseanne. He has produced special studies concerning fairness in CNN coverage of the Gulf War and commercial clutter in prime time.

He holds a Masters Degree in Broadcasting from the City University of New York.

Greg Miller

Greg Miller has been a significant contributor to the television business for more than 30 years. As VP Programming for the Tribune Entertainment Co., he was responsible for program development and management oversight of Geraldo, the Joan Rivers Show, Now It Can Be Told, and the Apollo Comedy Hour.

As VP Operations for Great American Broadcasting, he participated in the development of Entertainment Tonight and directed news and promotion research projects for leading stations at seven Great American stations.

For more than a decade, Mr. Miller was involved in the management of leading affiliate and independent television stations including WTXF-TV, Philadelphia, WKRC-TV, Cincinnati, and WVTM-TV, Birmingham. He directed various departments including programming, promotion, and production. His assistance in quantitative content research of newscasts and focus group testing of news promotion messages contributed to first or second place positions for seven Great American television stations.

Mr. Miller is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism and has received two regional Emmy Awards for sports production.

All research studies are directed, analyzed and presented by the company’s two principals.
